Abstract
Sussex Cancer Research Centre brings together experts from Brighton and Sussex Medical School, the University of Sussex, the University of Brighton, and NHS Trusts across Sussex, to pioneer interdisciplinary research that will improve cancer treatments and patient outcomes.
A new cancer research centre has been estbalished and co-directed by Simon, along with co-directors Professor Melanie Flint (University of Brighton), Professor Timothy Humphrey (University of Sussex), and Duncan Gilbert (University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust).

Reader in Cancer Research
My primary research focus is in understanding how intracellular, molecular signalling networks control immune cell fate, and how misregulation of these molecular networks leads to haematological malignancies. My combination of immunology and haematological training lead to a particular interest in B-cell lymphomas.
