Arran defending his thesis on the 3rd July 2024 with only minor corrections. His examiners were Ulf Klein (external) and Frances Peal (internal).
During his PhD Arran had some amazing achievements including:
- Publishing in Science Signalling
- Publishing in Frontiers in Immunology
- Receing the Adam Weiler award for outstanding impact

Reader in Cancer Research
My primary research focus is in understanding how intracellular, molecular signalling networks control immune cell fate, and how misregulation of these molecular networks leads to haematological malignancies. My combination of immunology and haematological training lead to a particular interest in B-cell lymphomas.
